TV series box sets on DVD

Not really current TV so started a new thread.

Just to say, DVD box sets, I love em! Being able to watch hours of hours of my favourite shows without any waiting for the next episode or advert interruptions - my own guilty pleasure Particular favourites include 'The Wire', 'The Shield' and 'ER', along with 'NYPD Blue' which is my alltime favourite TV show. Recently bought 'Treme' which is by the same guy asn 'The Wire' which I loved so hoping it's up to his usual high standards.

Anyone else watch any? Got any to recommend?

I did see Poldark on DVD whilst in Turkey recently, £5 for the whole series. Gotta admit I was tempted

I tried so hard with Band of Brothers, but I just couldn't get in to it . I know it's good, too many people rave about it for it not to be, I just didn't like it!!

I have stacked up but not watched, The wire, Prison Break, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development and Cold Feet. I have a lot of boxsets, I recently finished all of Coast, it was probably the best of the ones I watched recently.

Prisoner Cell Block H, from what I remember, that was a show!
It's on my Christmas list.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, now there's a comedy!
Breaking Bad really is bad and not in the good way, imo it's terrible, I was utterly depressed by episode 4, same goes for Orange is the New Black, though I only got to episode 2 of that one.
Dexter, series 1 ok, bought series 2 and I doubt i'll get past episode 3, DAMN IT!
Madmen, trying to get into it but it doesn't make me want to go back and keep watching.

I'm after another box set, also.
