LET'S (STAFFORD) CHAT!

Check this out THE FORUM CHAT ROOM version 0.1! It is the same as the one on Coobeastie's page. It is nice and simple, just log in with your Forum username.

Let's try it out and if it works perhaps the Almighty Admin would incorporate it into the Forum (copy and paste html - easy - even I could do that!!!)

You could at least have put a disclaimer in, as I had to with your previous post!

Just to clarify, this is nothing to do with Stafford Forum, so I/we have no control over what goes on there. Many thanks to Sofa for setting it up, and I hope you all get use out of it, but bear in mind that it is a wholly separate entity to this place and so will not be controlled or moderated in any way!

Unless your work's proxy software is truly abysmal, I doubt that would help I'm afraid. If I embedded it in The Forum, it would still be the same website, just presented on a page hosted here. It would still pull all the resources from the third party website, which would be blocked by your employer!

It seems that many of us are visiting an empty chat room! Hmpf! Leaving a window open in the background with sound on is good, and then, when a second visitor joins they should *meow* *slap* *whip* so that the first person hears someone has joined.

hmm - i can access the chat room fine from home, but not from work.. i have completely unrestricted web access at work, so it's not that - i think it's a problem with my java installation :angry:
