My internet is going rather slow today but speedtest for 10mb connection is at around 9.78 down and 0.49mb up...

Tori I shall talk no more of WOW... at last not on this thread... I seem to have inadvertently got 3 people I know playing or replaying since I started replaying about 3 months ago. you might like this though: http://www.owow-achievements.com/ I'm thinking of trying for "Shoes! More Shoes!"

I've had look, I reckon I've done quite a few...Still a way off the shoes one I only have about 25 pairs.

I'm not missing WoW too much, I have Starcraft to fill the gap ^.^

Ooh I've never played starcraft... I fear too many computer games might not be too good for my health... I might have to start a blizzard thread before we totally derail this one...
I'm doing pretty well on the shoes one I think... Vault boy told me off a while ago for having almost 20 pairs of shoes under the stairs... what he doesn't know is there is a mahoooosive pile more in my wardrobe...

Starcrafts ok if you like RTS's I'd not really played any before sc2 but I have really enjoyed it. Plus this is my thread and I dont care if it gets a little derailed :P

If you're enjoying RTS I'd recommend the command & conquer series and the original warcraft series. I used to play those when I was younger - I think my parents still do play them! The graphics aren't going to be anywhere near as good but they were the games that get RTS (strangely I always played as the horde in the warcraft RTS games but play alliance on WOW)

Starcraft was the space version of warcraft, lots of people still play the original which IIRC was launched aroun '97? Thats dedication!

Ive played orcs vs humans and warcraft 3, both of which i enjoyed alot, dont really like "realistic" rts as I prefer the fantasy and science fiction genres above all else.

Sounds like fun I do like being the evil overlord type. Just looked it up and I will add it to my wishlist for xmas I think.

Steam :D I love it. Found Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic not so long ago on there for under £2, very addictive. And my sources inform me there will be a new MMO version out next year. Expecting much addiction.

Yes mate, whenever weston roads power goes out we lose our broadband up here even though our own power stays on.
Thankfully there's an unsecured network somewhere nearby that I get to borrow ;)
