I've never noticed this before, but it's not a location that I go past very often.

Saying it was erected in 1953 could lead you astray, as the wall that it is fixed to wasn't there then.

That's on the police station - I once used it as an answer to a pub quiz question on a Stafford round that people who lived here all their lives found too hard.

Does that mean I need to find the next one?
