I work opposite, and it has been under refurbishment for a few weeks now. The word is, it's being turned into a pub carvery / restaurant.
I shall let you know the opening dates when I can, if somebody else doesn't beat me to it!

You're spot on. Graham (who's got the hop pole) has taken it on and has ploughed in lot of money. Not sure on the opening though.
