I recently started a new job on the Technology Park by the Uni, and being a non-driver i can either walk or get a bus to work. Does anybody drive from town to the Tech Park Mon-Fri, and if so, fancy a lift share? I will make a healthy contribution towards petrol money.....

You are most lazy! Those dangly things at the end of your body are legs. Use 'em.

I walk from up near DGH to the train station everyday. Times flies with my DAB radio :) Or get yourself a cheapo bike - got the cycle lanes on that route! Thus avoiding any potential traffic related hold ups.

I get the number 5 from Sainsbury's which goes straight to the Tech Park....even easier!

Not really, but I prefer to stay in bed for as long as possible in the morning and I'd lose at least half an hour if I walked! (as you know, I need my beauty sleep :teef:)

Well just walk then you toff! :rich:

(Only jokin' me dearie.)

I used to wear suits to work all the time - but am experiencing something of a scruff phase at the moment. Must sort myself out. I had a very fetching purpley red one once - looked like a giant ribena berry (aka a complete twunt). That one went to the charity shop...

Hey - get a Segeway! It'll only take you a week for a round trip!

It's not lazier getting the No.5 instead of the No.9...it's logical. One goes to the place I work, the other doesn't!

theflamingred: I like! We should all get one of those krazy Segeway things and race them.

Not knowing him, would it be a vanity or dyspraxia issue?
it wasn't personal, to be honest.. i just find the whole concept of cycling to work in a suit, or packing a ruck sack with a change of clothes everyday a bit laughable lol..

Yeah this option has been considered and rejected. It's certainly not down to vanity, but dyspraxia could be a possibility!

I really don't want to be faffing about getting changed into and out of my suit at work...
