Wanted: Mens bike

I'm going to uni in 10 days and i have alot of distance to cover each day to get to my lectures and seminars from my accomodation. If anyone has an old bike that they dont need any more and doesnt mind offloading it i would be really grateful to recieve it. I dont mind paying a bit for it but as a student i dont have to much money. Thanks

Get yourself down to "back 2 bikes" mate...

Should find a bargain down there and perfect for your needs (i.e. something that won't look like its worth nicking to sell, but will do the job).

Picked up my bike today from back to bikes, They sure did a brilliant job, ontop of doing my bike up they threw in a free light on the back of my bike, result

Just looked up their website and sounds a good cause and prices very good but does make you wonder about quality so really good to here they do a top job. Thas recommendation enough for me so maybe time to dust down my machine, take it for a tune up start riding it again and park the car up more.

Considering buying from them too after seeing/hearing lots of great reports about the place. I need to get a pushbike again to do some exercise before I turn into a tubby tommy. What are the stock levels like or is it a case of "I need a bike for x" and they build one from the bikes they break down?

They have what they have - and they will also work in your direction where possible. If you don't need something now, then pass by every now and then until you find what you want. It's a flexible situation, but there needs to be a bit of reverse flexibility sometimes. Go and have a look - always remembering that they are closed on Thursdays ( I believe ).

Flexible is no problem, I'm in no great hurry. I shall take up your advice and pass by a few times and see whats on offer.
