Weather Warning

The marvellous perforated curbs there have never been rodded/jetted since the day they were installed, despite the many handy access points, and have been silted up for some considerable time now.

There used to be a permanent puddle in the bus stop, known locally as the Water Feature, but it vanished when the new drainage was installed, until it became blocked up.

I signed up for Met Office weather warnings and am generally inundated (!) with warnings that come to little, or nothing.

I've just had this for today -

Yellow Warning of Rain for West Midlands

Yellow Warning of Rain for West Midlands : Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Warwickshire, West Midlands Conurbation, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire & Telford and Wrekin valid from 1400 Wed 14 Sep to 2350 Wed 14 Sep
(received at 13:52)

I got no warning of anything untoward being expected yesterday.

Came past Sams Barbers heading towards the four crosses, in my wifes car, laughing at the oi polloi getting soaked, and in days of yore it used to flood there until they sorted the drain out, last night both sides were flooded and above the path.
