Wedding Photographer - Any Recommendations?

Hello!

We're struggling to find a wedding photographer at the moment who is a) available on our date, b) within a reasonable budget and c) doesn't want lots of add on just to get at our own photographs we'll be paying for!

Just thought I'd put it out there - does anyone have any recommendations?

Get yourself on the wedding groups on Facebook. Plenty of ads from both experienced wedding photographers, and also those trying to build a profile and just offering £150 deals etc.

Yes but remember you only get married the once (probably) so if the photos are messed up because someone is using you as practice, then you're stuffed.

It's not an uncommon sight at The Moat House for one of our regular "professional" photographers to be seen attempting to recreate a couples wedding photographs after the special day, as the family friend or internet bargain results in a disaster and a betrayal of the trust, so choose wisely as proactive rightly mentions!

You get what you pay for with wedding photographers. You aren't just paying for the photographs, you are paying for the expertise behind taking those photographs.

I suspect that actually taking the pictures is the easy bit - making the picture available to take sounds a lot harder to me....

I would require a serious dog, a cattle prod and a revolver.

..oh, and a camera..
