Wedding reception venues

Having scoured the wedding reception venues of Stafford and surrounding areas I have come to the conclusion that we could go on two extra honeymoons for the cost of hiring out the venue plus buffet food per head. Am now looking at venue only hopefully with a bar attached to it somewhere. Have considered lending a friends barn but the cows objected. Anybody know of any large function rooms in the area?

When is the big day??

As a forumite, I would give you a white dove release for a bargain price of £99 instead of £149 (which is already hugely cheaper than most white dove companies)

If you want to know more look at www.dovedelight.co.uk

April next year. Thankyou for the offer. One of my friends at work is a falconer so we hope to be having some birds of prey flying around the venue. Just need to make sure that we put a cover over the shrewburgers and rat kebab sticks on the buffet table first.

Talking of buffets have you heard the one about Dracula walking through the graveyard?

All the feathers fluttering down over the happy couple - what could make a more romantic picture?

Do them in black and white and the blood won't show up so much on the dress.

The bride and groom have opted for a GORE-TEX range of wedding attire.

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
Tried the Yew Tree restaurant - v disappointing a 5 out 10 at best - poor menu choice

Sloppy school dinnners

And the young couple running it seemed more interested in their mates at the bar

cant see this staying open for long if it operates likes this

Do we have catering colleges anymore??

Several times, all good, all different. Haven't been there for a couple years though but the drinks at the bar always seemed decently price which is a bonus.

Wedding reception booked at the White Eagle Club. Looks impressive. Now need some decent caterers. Am looking for something a little more interesting than cheese sandwiches and sausage rolls but that doesn't cost the earth. Would like to support local caterers if possible. Any recommendations?
