Has anyone on here got access to any heavy duty weedkiller? Looking for weapons grade defoliant.

About 4 square mtrs. Docks, grass, dandelions. Nothing out of the ordinary but don't want them to come back.

Think you are going to have to use repeated applications of glyphosate. Persistent weedkillers are mostly very dodgy on health & environmental grounds, the old favourite sodium chlorate has been banned for a number of years. Some people recommend ordinary salt but that can be environmentally unsound. Most of the recommended persistent weedkillers are glyphosate/diflufenican formulations such as Bayer Garden Path & Drive Weedkiller or Weedol Pathclear Weedkiller LC but they may be on the expensive side

I read that Glyphosate blended with other agents was more effective. I did my block paving with a 50/50 bleach and water solution which has certainly kept the moss at bay. I may try a stronger bleach solution.

As said, the glysophate only kills what is currently there. Dunno what you'd use for permanent removal, tarmac probably!

I'm sure that once you've managed clear the area of weeds, if you put quite strong salt water all over the area, that stops anything else growing?? Probably wrong, no idea.
