For those with Netflix, and enjoy a "who done it" style story line.I'd recommend a show called the Expanse...

Ten years of utter madness, brought into our homes in little episodes every night.

Ending with them shoving helicopters off the decks because they hadn't got time to refuel them before the next ones arriving would run out of fuel...

It could be an idea to re-run the news clips in real time as All Our Yesterdays did with WW2, 25 years later.

JFK does not come up smelling of roses.

We like to think that we live in the most troublemost of times. We have some living up to do.

My favourite bit of Trump's speech to the UN was where he said that the USA had been gracious in victory, in that it had not asked for any territorial gains after WWII.

It seemed to wipe away the past 60 years as some sort of Fake History - as if perhaps 'the Donald' might not quite 'get' the concept of 'by proxy'.

If you would like to come to some sort of understanding of why the post-war USA is what it is, the ^above will give you some.

At the end of the Malayan "Emergency" UK forces shoved their Citroen 2CV assault vehicles (no I am not joking) off the aircraft carriers into the sea.

There is believed to be about a million tons of 'surplus' ammunition dumped in Beaufort's Dyke off Stranraer, including about 14,000 tons of phosgene rockets.

Something to bear in mind when using the northern ferry routes to Ireland.
