Buzz Aldrin...absolute legend! his genuine interest in everything that was being discussed and shown was fantastic.

but this is still the best footage of him I've seen in a long time

He still has a useful right hook :) the moon conspiracy theorists deserve everything they get.

I said to the husband not long ago that my life would effectively be over when I started watching Period Dramas, & that he should have me put down....

Oooh there is plenty of drama not to mention rumpy pumpy in a good old period drama.

The very best is Mr Selfridge, followed by Downton of course.

But oh my, I have been getting a bit hot watching Poldark ....last night when he took his top off...blimey. And oh yes, forgot to mention...the photography and filming and scenery is amazing.
Totally hooked.

NOT period drama but what I call "GND"...."Gritty Northern Drama"...last Tues...Ordinary lies...brilliant, we were cringing at the lies that Jason Manfords character told. Brilliant TV.

Gotham was heating up a bit last night, waiting E.Nigma to snap and turn into the super villain we all know he is. Also wanted to watch Super Fan on BBC3 last night...mainly because half of it was at the MCM Comicon last November, and with the 501st Garrison (which I have affiliations to).

Seems like the Cosplay/costuming scene is getting more and more recognition.

BBC2 10pm last night Dara 7 Ed's Great big adventure.

Basically they're retracing the steps may by the "3 fools" in 1941 to map out what is now called the Pan-American Highway.

Actually pretty decent, well worth a watch.

I love this show, such a simple premise but I think the family are perfect, no drama, they just seem to get on with it! Comparing what people ate in the 50's to the 70's it's easy to see how the quliaty of the British diet has gone down the swanny. From no junk food in the early 50's to an overdoes of it in less than 1 generation. And what's with the 1970's thing of having a different pattern on every piece of soft furnishing a room had ...........yuk!!
