I had a summer house for my birthday and as im a keen gardener i spend al lot of my time outside, or in my green house and now i have a comfy chair for my summer house i want to learn to relax.

I brought a cheap radio last year from argos but the reception in the garden was rubbish - so can anyone recommend a good radio and then i want to start listening to some good radio stations and some good radio programs, any recommendations for funny programs, intellectual programs and good music stations

No i've got push button battery lights i wanted to escape from the house and find some peace and solitude. I've got electric lighting in the outbuildings of the house but that place is used by the family. The summer house is mine mine mine

YES its a real summer house 6 x 6 which is not all that big when the comfy chair and a shelving unit is in there. I've started getting whicker baskets now to put on the shelves. I want it to look pooosh and girly - the green house and the shed are practical but i wanted the summer house to sit in on the warm summer evenings with a glass of wine and listen to the radio. BLISS

You might want to get another DAB radio then as the Sony drinks the batteries

Thanks I've just looked at them, i think that the solar/bat/mains will be a much better idea for me, cause i'm in the garden most of the time it will have the opportunity to charge up whilst I'm listening to it and if i get the rechargeable batteries i can listen to it when the sun goes down. Now i have to tell the kids that they are buying it for me
