I seem to recall both Bad Manners and Linton Kwesi Johnson both cut tracks called Lorraine....strange but true Buster Bloodvessel was the elder of the two.....

Unfortunately missed that, but was there for Undertones, Lurkers, Ruts, Members, Vapors, etc.

Mmmm, Members. This was the only time I ever saw any trouble at a punk do - and that was Nicky Tesco being thrown back on stage by two bouncers for fighting in the audience.

I was there for their first visit, but, a couple of months later, they'd been on TOTP just before our second attempt and entry proved impossible at the time when we arrived. I do remember Astro and his extremely floppy afro.

Bloody hell!! we did 1st appearance and also couldna get in at 2nd we trooped off to an indian eaterie and had a good time anyway.......
