the sound of silence..

and i don't mean the excellent simon & garfunkel tune - i mean the lonely quiet of my parents' house.. everyone's in bed, and i'm wide awake trying to entertain myself on the internet.. i love coming back to stafford to visit, but i miss my own gaff! :(

Mrs Seed is playing the current Rufus Wainwright album, which I now heartily approve of after being not too sure of. Needs some listening.

What does worry me is Mr Wainwright's striking physical resemblance to one of the Venerable Mrs Seed's former beau's!

Am I imagining that far away look in her eye? I must check her friends re-united account!

At the moment, I got 30 Seconds From Mars. 'The Kill (Bury Me)' cranking out of my iPod stereo. Helps drown out the sound of me bashing computer keys and kids mouthing off to each other :P

listening to it on mp3 sat at my computer.. i've got it on 12" though - it's got Footloose on the flip! what a great bit of vinyl that is :D

Anyone see Fairbrass taking one in the face (oo-er) on that gay rally in Russia. Him and Peter Tatchell got smacked by some hulking Russian homophobes.
