What hobbies do you have?

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
Since my youngest was born Iv developed a hobby for cleaning , well more of an obsession, but I really enjoy seeing the final result :-D . I especially like moving furniture around and Decluttering . Running out of stuff to get rid of now tho :-(. I Hoover at least 3 times a day

Sounds like that's a hobby you could turn into a nice little earner, if you wanted to.

When I'm old & rich I shall learn to play golf properly & travel the world playing all the cources I've played on PlayStation PGA tours...

I'm half-way there with the old bit! ;)

Oh and my wife says I ramble on about absolutely nothing as a hobby as well.

I'm not sure I should count these as hobbies as I never seem to spend much time pursuing them. But anyway, they're something to do when I retire.

Wargames - I haven't done any for years, but do visit the local shows and dig out my old rules and games from time to time. And none of that fantasy nonsense - I prefer mine with a bit of history.

Military History - Especially the American Civil War and WW1 Naval history.

Photography - As well as the usual holiday stuff, I try a bit of sport photography (some of my efforts are posted elsewhere on the forum). I used to be photographer for an American Football team, but someone else does that now as I'm doing other things, namely .....

American Football - As well as watching the sport (TV, Wembley, UK leagues), I'm on the staff of the Birmingham Uni team where I do most of their video filming, games and training.

Horserace Betting - I don't actually part with any money; I just like reading up on betting systems and trying to develop an approach of my own.

The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann - Yeah, I'm one of those conspiracy theorists.

I don't know if there's any plastic modellers amongst us, but it's IPMS' Scale Model World event at Telford this weekend. http://ipmsuk.org/calendar/scale-modelworld-2017/

I'll no doubt come back with a few things, especially as I'll be going armed with a list of things to get for my brother and his lad. (Always handy for Xmas pressies.)

Yes, it gets a bit like that; several unfinished kits and a whole lot more not yet started.

I'm not sure I'll be getting much for myself. Maybe some Spanish Armada ships to add to those below for wargaming, and some 28mm late WW2 German heavy weapons units to add to 50-something infantry I acquired during the summer (mortars, HMGs etc).

I never miss the Hunter when ever I go there, same with the Gloster Javelin near to it as well.

Cheers for the heads up with the cockpit accessibility, great for reference pics :)

I have a load of a Canberra from over at the small air museum at East mids Airport.

Not a committee member any longer.
Now fly drones for fun as well.

A strangely 'likeable' plane - despite one crashing into a building where I should have been and another dropping a bomb (accidentally) two hundred yards away.

The Hunter inside is a twin, a T7 - a rare example of a mod that doesn't look like a bodge.

Quite lucky with the Canberra there then? Always was curious to understand why there was a circular section that could be removed on the canopy though?

Wouldn't take too much modification to the fuselage to accommodate the twin seat T7?

I forgot I'd taken this.... a Tribal and an "H" Class.

(and I'll try to dig out one I took of the Hawker Hunter SIG group at IPMS.)
