Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but @Tilly was earlier admitted to Hospital - the poo alluded to earlier turned out to be the monstrous pile of shit that is the grinning-rainbow-unicorn-tecnological-Irish-border-solution turd seen above.

His dying wish was that the picture of the death-shit be posted on www.staffordforum.com to remember him by.

It's been an amazing weekend. I've climbed cader idris and snowdon, visited a Welsh version of angkor wat and done a few more hikes as well. Pics will follow tomorrow evening, tonight I eat and drink cider!
I haven't forgotten, just been busy!

As we were a fair distance from the caravan and it was Easter Sunday we decided to spend a bit more time up that way before heading to the cross foxes for our evening meal (we did snowdon on a small sandwich and a chocolate bar each). After looking around the area we settled on an abandoned quarry, this one will be hard to narrow down as I took a lot of pics!

Hard to gauge total distance travelled, my watch says about 75km but my stride length was much shorter on steep inclines so I'd say a fair bit lower. I GPS tracked over 40km in 3 days, and that was only counting the two mountains, coed y brenin and the quarry, so I suspect at least 65km in total. I also GPS tracked over 6km of ascent so not too shabby for someone who this time last year only got exercise by cycling a mile each way to work. All in all a very good weekend, both in terms of what I saw and what I physically achieved :)
