going to the living room in brum. what i won't be doing is losing a brand new 100 quid phone and missing my train resulting in a 50 quid cab fare home.

As a 'freelancer' and general all round 'floater' i have had multiple Crimbo do's to choose from. The fave one so far though had to be Tuesdays at Maroush lebanese restaurant. You can't beat a chickpea feast!! Although tonight's Crimbo do has free Champagne and a Mexican Band. What a winning combination!

I'm eating at Essence of the Orient, and then going to the hell that is Stafford town pubs. Tenshon you could ensure you don't miss the train back, and join me in hell.

Essence of the orient is nice. Good food and i ain't a chinese food lover normally.
What's wrong with the ford's nightlife Miss T? I mean you could go to Litten tree, the head to Chic rock, take it upstairs to New yorks, even go to the big Z if you wanted. I just don't get your point!? :roll: ;)

ours is normally crap - previously it's always been on a school night and out in the middle of nowhere, so once the "do" is over everyone just goes home..

i'm looking forward to this year's, though.. it's on friday 22/12/06, so not only is it on a friday night (woohoo!) but it's about as close to xmas as you can get, so hopefully everyone will be full of xmas cheer :) plus, we're having it at a new venue, which is close to ecclesall road - for anyone who knows sheffield you'll know that this is where it's at as far as piss-ups are concerned.. the menu sounds well nice as well..

Paintballing next weekend then a meal the following Tuesday afternoon at the Moathouse, few drinks afterwards. I can then relax for a few weeks as my annual leave kicks in. Delightful.

i've just found out the living room have loved up our booking and have asked if we can move our table back from 6pm til 9pm with free drinks as compensation. i'll have to leave at 10.45pm to get the last train back so it gives me 1 hour 45 minutes to eat a three course meal. not best pleased. we start drinking about 11am so we're gonna be spannered by the time we get there.

Christmas work do? You're having a laugh aren't you?? As if my tight-wad of a boss would even offer to buy any of us lot a festive pint! I'm gonna arrange something for all of the rest of us to do...but i can't call it a 'works do' otherwise i'll have to invite the führer!
