Toad in the hole, mash and roast carrots with onion gravy.

We were supposed to have savoy cabbage too, but there were none in the supermarket, I bought 'greens' instead, but didn't like the look of them when I started prepping, so in the bin they went. I never have luck with 'greens'.

I did us a pork roast, stuck it all in 2 Aunty Bessies giant yorkie puds. The meat was reduced in Sainsburys couple of weeks ago, I just stuck it in the freezer till I was able cook it.
Clean plates all round, none for the poor cat.

Been up the County with a patient all afternoon, didn't get a break. Came home and made myself a lovely roast pork butty. Apart from the 2 slices of toast I had at 12ish earlier, that's all i've eaten today. Rate i'm going, i'll be a size 8 come Christmas!

Enjoying a drop of red.
We are staying in a Purple Palace for the next couple of nights and as there's nothing else nearby I assumed we would be sampling the 'gourmet' food of the in-house facilities tonight and tomorrow.

Apparently not. Tonight it would seem we are being picked up by minibus and taken to what is supposed to be a very decent Chinese in uptown Malvern. There are also distant mumblings about something special for those of us stopping over tomorrow in order to avoid the bank holiday traffic on the way home.
