What's for dinner/tea?

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
Had a couple of mince pies with my coffees after walking into town this afternoon so I'm not that hungry but later we will be ordering Chinese.

This evening I did Roast beef, spuds, carrots and Yorkie puds, smothered in a rich OXO gravy.
Just for once, the beef wasn't reduced price Mr Sainsburys stuff. Sisters other half, littleknobhead, got me a slab of Sirloin months ago, took an age cut it up into steaks and joints, but I did it.
GUWJLTFTBB ate every bit and complained that we don't have meals like it often enough. He was told that he knows where the freezers are and has watched me often enough to know what do. But, ''Mummy does it so much better'' - he's 33 next month.

Sirloin streak, mushrooms, jacket potatoes, peas.

Hardly ever have red meat so it was an absolutely gorgeous treat.
