Yet lobbie and Scouse I've had, hasn't been at all thin.
I agree.

I grew up on Scouse, my Mother was a Liverpudlian and her and her 4 sisters cooked it weekly.

The dish called Scouse (originally called lobskause) was brought to the port of Liverpool by sailors from Scandinavia.

People from outside Liverpool got to know the dish and enjoyed it so much that it became quite famous, so eventually the people from Liverpool became known as “Scousers”.

So the name Scousers for Liverpudlians came from the dish.

Growing up with the dish and having it cooked properly, I’ve never known it to be thin, just a gorgeous plate of tasty food.

We used up the very last of the turkey tonight and had turkey and mushroom pasta with garlic bread.

Made turkey sandwiches for tomorrow.

Turkey pie in the freezer, 10 portions of turkey and veg soup in the freezer.

All gone but we both absolutely love turkey, and it’s a superfood, all good stuff.

A well-matured* tin of Lidl's finest plum tomato and basil soup, accompanied by bread.

Cooked with the aid of the new Shed kitchen corner lighting arrangement.

* The tin was found lurking in the remains of the Covid isolation stash and bore a BBE of July 2021, but I expect to survive.

Planned on a pizza from asda but they were out of at least half the toppings, and all the ones I fancied, so I went to KFC instead and had a zinger tower burger as it was half price.
