What's for dinner/tea?

Harissa Chicken all in one traybake (harissa spiced chicken, onion, garlic, baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes, all thrown together and tray baked).

As always we cooked the recipe for four people but froze 2 portions for when we either can’t be bothered to cook or for when I’m doing a shift at the theatre and haven’t got time to cook before I go out.

Just had slow cooker beef in red wine, garlic, tinned tomatoes, Oxo and onions. No plan, just chucked it all in. Worked fine. Roasties, Yorkies, peas and carrots.
Looking like beef sarnies at work this week.

Busy today with one thing and another so a quick stir fry, giant prawns, mange tout, baby corn, with a Sharwoods Terriaki sauce, and noodles. All thrown together in about 15 minutes and eaten in about 10.

A sort of peppered beef slice for lunch in the Shed today, baked/reheated in the cast iron 'oven', on a mesh trivet, so it is just 'oven baked' and not in direct contact with the heated base. I calibrated the set up the other day, in terms of the temperatures reached, and it all seems to have worked well.

The big kettle won't fit on the stove at the same time, but a smaller coffee pot does the job, for the quantities of hot water that I require. The gas cooker is there anyway, should that be necessary.

The carer had haddock & chips and I had chicken & mushroom pie, chips, and IRISH curry sauce, very nice it was too!
