    Leftovers!

Husband pulled the short straw - his tea consists of mash and beans with a side of curry! Yuk!

Tonight tea, and tomorrows, is a home made chicken pie. I cook the chicken breasts first, chop them into small pieces, bung them in the home made pastry case, smother them in vegetarian gravy, then pop a pastry lid on. The pie is actually big enough to serve eight, but we're greedy and have a quarter each, don't normally have anything else with it. The diet has gone right out of the window at the moment, due to my mental state, depression is a right bastard at times.
Tomorrow, i'll nuke it as long as I dare, without ruining anything.

The mix looks surprisingly meaty! I use a food processor to blitz it so it looks oddly pink and raw! When cooked they're brown on the outside and pink in the middle!

As mentioned yesterday, the other half of my homemade chicken pie. As always whilst eating one meal, i'm planning the next.
Youngest has requested Cottage Pie. I almost choked on a lump of chicken, he hates potatoes of any shape or form, but says it's been so long since we had them, he'll make an exception.
That's tomorrows and Thursdays meals sorted!
