Roast chicken dinner
Husband pulled the short straw - his tea consists of mash and beans with a side of curry! Yuk!
Toad in the hole.
Tonight tea, and tomorrows, is a home made chicken pie. I cook the chicken breasts first, chop them into small pieces, bung them in the home made pastry case, smother them in vegetarian gravy, then pop a pastry lid on. The pie is actually big enough to serve eight, but we're greedy and have a quarter each, don't normally have anything else with it. The diet has gone right out of the window at the moment, due to my mental state, depression is a right bastard at times.
Tomorrow, i'll nuke it as long as I dare, without ruining anything.
When I can be bothered to move and stop watching 'Come dine with me', we will be having Pinch of Noms Pepsi Max Chicken...
*this was scrummy, the only thing we don't usualy have in the house, as ingredients go is pepsi max.... bonus
Homemade beetroot and bean burgers with a whopping great big salad!
That sounds nice, shame Jesus here won't touch anything that remotely looks like a vegetable x
The mix looks surprisingly meaty! I use a food processor to blitz it so it looks oddly pink and raw! When cooked they're brown on the outside and pink in the middle!
Homemade salt & pepper chips, and salt & pepper chicken.
My mouth is on fire.
As mentioned yesterday, the other half of my homemade chicken pie. As always whilst eating one meal, i'm planning the next.
Youngest has requested Cottage Pie. I almost choked on a lump of chicken, he hates potatoes of any shape or form, but says it's been so long since we had them, he'll make an exception.
That's tomorrows and Thursdays meals sorted!
A pan-asian takeaway mix tonight from the excellent place in town if Mrs p ever brings it on her way back from her shop. Hurry up, I'm hungry!
A celebration is in order!
Will explain tomorrow - too much prosecco has been consumed!
Chicken Pathia, Spicy Indian Green Beans Gujarati style, pilau rice and Spiced cheesy Jalepeno& cheese flatbreads....
Those beans look amazing.
Well that should keep the customers a good 2 metres away from you at work tomorrow
Diced left over dumplings fried with smoked streaky bacon for brekky tomorrow.
