Change of plan, when I finally shifted my derrière and stuck my nose in the freezer, I found we had no potatoes.
Dominos it is then. Cos I'm on strike at the moment.

    Homemade pizza!

I somehow convinced myself they were healthy because I made them?!?

That looks lovely @Trumpet - I ate rather a lot of those chocolate orange segments last night, probably explains why I fell asleep so early....

Butter chicken curry (jar sauce, lots of added veg), basmati rice and Peshwari naan..

I'll have you know it was very nice!

I did think to take a picture but it didn't look particularly appealing!

Tonight is the jacket tata and cheese we didn't have Thursday.
Last night, I came home from work at 20.30, to find a tuna paste bake bubbling away in the oven. Youngest had the fancies.

    Takeaway.

I injured my back last October, I've had physio via phone all the way through the last few months and can now 'manage' the pain.

Today I decided to trim back some bushes with the hand shears..... That simple leaning forward and snipping has caused the most unbearable pain, and I'm right back to back pain central...

... But on the upside, the carer doesn't think I should cook, so takeaway it is....

Went to the Sparrowhawk for a late lunch/very early tea with the neighbours. It's a Brunning and Price jobby so, even though we'd never been there before, expectations were high.

Turned out the grub was absolutely to notch and the braised shoulder of lamb I had as a main was the nicest lamb I've had in years. The wine selection was pretty good too. Absolutely stuffed at the end of it we were but the walk home through the woods and along the beech soon helped sort that out.

The evening will be spent doing stuff all except sipping wine and watching TV.

Work and then home tomorrow, so summer hols over for another year :(

Went into Liverpool yesterday for a haircut.

Husband joined me afterwards and it turned into a fairwell tour before we move!

    Many margaritas were consumed!

Ended up at a fab Indian called Moglis on Bold Street - very much recommend if you're up that way!

Back to earth today with chilli pie before school tomorrow!

Despite feeling under the weather, and telling the carer that I didn't want anything spicy, saucy, garlic or greasy, he decided to serve up Pizza. One of my most hated foods.

I wanted, boring oven chips, egg, beans and bread and butter (living the 70's life), but I got greasy pizza.

    :urgh:

Guess what I'm cooking for tea tomorrow? :yay:

    Eeeeeeeehhh eeeeeerrrr XXXXX incorrect answer!

I just don't fathom people's love of pizza... I'd rather have cheese on toast.
