Where to go for a fresh cooked full English breakfast

Any recommendations for where to go for a freshly cooked full English breakfast? I'm not too fussed about the bacon, sausage, mushrooms/tomato being freshly cooked but I'd really like the fried egg to be freshly cooked with a soft yolk to dip my toast in! Does anywhere do fresh cooked these days?
I assumed The Swan would but I was served a cool kept warm fried egg with a hard yolk in the summer. Very disappointed especially as I invited others to join me :(
I don't eat breakfast out very often but its my favourite treat.
Thanks a lot.

If you don't mind travelling 20 minutes or so then I can highly recommend the Star Cafe on Eccleshall High Street. It's a proper 'greasy spoon' kind of place, but the breakfasts are epic and everything is cooked to order.

Thanks to everyone who's replied so far. I'll try Eccleshall and Dobbies in the future. For now If possible does anyone have any more local recommendations. I live in Wildwood. Thanks.

Mrs WMR does a cracking one, but I don't think she'd appreciate me opening up as a cafe one morning insisting she starts cooking for forumites :lolsmash:

Not that i eat out in any capacity very often but am likewise rather inclined toward breakfasting when i do. A dipable egg i also find an indispensable part of the experience.

Prior to my gut-busting Food 4 Thought experiment i had, on the most previous occasion, breakfasted at The Swan and must say i found it to be excellent - and when i say excellent, i really do mean excellent.

If you aren't bothered about too local, try the Hollies truckers cafe on the A5 close to Junction 12. (AKA Greasy Lil's)
£5.50 for a mega breakfast including a coffee or tea. Cant be beaten!! :)

Having worked in the catering trade, I know that unless you specially ask for a soft yolk, you should get served a hard 1.

radford bank do all you can eat for £3.99
Thanks. I don't think this is what I'm looking for. I've tried places like that and its generally a bit buffet style
and cold. Which is why I err on the side of freshly cooked. But I can be persuaded. Has anyone tried there.

That's very useful to know. I wasn't aware of that. I'll make sure I specifically mention in future that I don't want a hard yolk. Thanks.

You seem to understand my view about a dipable egg lol ! Tell me what was so good at The Swan. I'm a massive fan of The Swan as somewhere I can always rely on. If I get a choice I always choose to eat out breakfast out and was horrified that the breakfast at The Swan was a disgrace. Not a word associated with The Swan. Cold everything. I made an assumption that if I went to The Swan it would be freshly cooked to order but it wasn't as it was all cold. Very embarrassing as I'd asked people to join me. We just left and haven't been back since. So what was so impressive that you'd say it was excellent?
