Hi

I will be working in Cannock in January.
Can anyone advise me nice areas with very good primary schools in Staffordshire?

Thanks in advance.

We are Stafford people rather than Staffordshire. Most of us won't be able to comment on large swathes of our county with any great accuracy. You might need to narrow it down a bit, Staffordshire is over 1000 sq miles!!!

Disagree Penkridge is nice, market town easy access to Cannock, in fact it's easy access to anywhere, 20 mins on the train to Birmingham, Liverpool an hour away

Which bit do you disagree with? That people on the Stafford forum will know more about Stafford than the rest of Staffordshire's 1000 sq miles's? Or that Penkridge is nice?? Penkridge is not an hour on the train to Liverpool. It's an hour from Stafford to Liverpool, and you'd need to get to Stafford from Penkridge first.

I now about Penkridge, they where asking about a nice place to live in Staffordshire near to Cannock, Penkridge fits the box, the journey to Liverpool is about 1 hour 5 mins & u do not have to get to Stafford because the trains stop at Penkridge.

Enjoying a drop of red.

I still wouldn't boast about the closeness to Cannock though...

i live on highfields, its fine here, never see any trouble. apart from the few odd neighbours. it takes me 20mins to get to hednesford from stafford even at a school run time. i go through the chase.
i also work at penkridge and it takes me 10minutes if that some days. it's also a nice town, but a bit quiet not so many shops. i think it is quicker from stafford to cannock than penkridge to cannock though, few times ive done the run it took longer, may just be crap drivers in my way mind! lol

If you can drive from Highfields to Cannock, quicker than from Penkridge to Cannock then your licence needs taking away for the good of other road users.

20 minutes from Highfields to Hednesford across the Chase at school run time, is either a blatant lie designed to 'impress' us with your 'abilities' or you are putting other people's lives at serious risk and need locking up.

So which is it? Chump or lunatic?

Frankly.
