I have no idea if this is in the right section but it seemed the most appropriate place.

I am after some advice on where to sell a 1ct Black Diamond ring. It has a certificate of authenticity with it.

I really dont want to go on ebay as its not something i think i would trust the ebay process with.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Obviously there's the cash for gold type shops in town, or you might have a wander to a few places in the jewellery quarter in Brum. A few nice cafés there as well to pass a bit of time.

There's a family run jewellery shop opposite the police station in town that buys jewellery (can't remember the name but they are really lovely), failing that you could try The Money Shop opposite the cinema...most pawn shops also buy jewellery & I suspect other jewlers also buy...

Thanks for the advice, spoke to sliwinski's who could only recommend going to the jewellery quarter which is a bit out of my way.
Will keep trying more local places.

That is, probably, very good advice.

Do you, by any chance, know somebody who might frequent Birmingham and could take it there for you, perhaps?
