This one?

Presumably it's owned by the County Council - the sign says Stafford College of Further Education, North Walls Annexe - there isn't anything about it on-line i can find.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I used to have lectures there when I was at the College. Always assumed it belonged to the College.

I only assumed it was the county council because it appears to have the staffs county council arms on the sign.

Like that - but it's not particularly clear from street view.

Basically, i have no idea. :)

You could well be right, I can't remember off hand how far along the plans for the Morrisons development stretch. I'm surprised that they wouldn't want it as it would be easy for them to level & make a larger store or provide more carparking etc. In the supermarket game "big" and one-up-man-ship wins & so I should imagine they would want to appear more vast than their nearby competitors

The site behind is of significant wildlife interest (or somesuch phrase), so they are only allowed to build over half of it and plant a load of non-native trees at the borders. Should be fun when it floods.
