I havnt been out in Stafford for ages, doesnt seem like theres much going on there anymore.

Do you think there is much house culture there anymore?

I promote a night in Hanley (Stoke-on-Trent) and have been asked to promote it at a venue in Stafford.

Think it would work?

there are a few rarse clarts on here who are bang into their house.. look for anyone with "upsetter" in their username, for a start.. it's a bit quiet on here today, but i'm sure they'll have something to say next time they're on

I am a complete house head and anything similar, My mates put a monthly night on at the Surgery called Switched, the next event is on March 10th. Get yourself down there on that night and have a chat to the organisers who run it. You never know! Something happens also at a new club called J14. Its below a club called Chill which has shut.

I went 2 weeks ago and left after an hour due to the music. It was being played by absolute amature Djs, they couldn't even mix half the time. They played the same song 4 times while I was there. It was awful. They only have one draft beer on offer, this being Bud, which I hate. Won't be visiting again, unless you paid me.

As suspected. I'll trust your judgement and save myself the agony. There's a new cocktail/tapas bar where Stephanie's was in St Mary's Mews. Tommy T and his good lady went there a couple of weeks ago, but I can't remember what they said about it!

We nipped in after Panders' birthday curry. Only spent 10 minutes in there, waiting to be served. They seemed to busy making cocktails to actually serve people. Looks nice though, unless you actually want a drink, apparently.
