Yes, started about 5 - 10 minutes ago but almost stopped at the moment.

There are loads of all sorts of birds after my feeders at the moment. Seem to know winter is on it's way..

Just received my e-mail forecast for my postcode from Netweather.....................'dry and overcast' this morning. No mention of snow all day.......... Not trusting their forecasts again!

Today's sun is giving us some respite but by the level of the river today and the forecast after this evening I wouldn't be surprised to see a burst bank or two come Sunday or Monday. Noticeable levels on fairway and meadows usually give you an idea that it's taking up the flood plains and next thing is to breach other points as well as Queensway filing up nicely!

Do you mean the bridge at Mitton? That is being rebuilt and the road is closed for several months. Or is the Whiston Road bridge over the Penk getting a bit too wet?
