Working hard for Stafford and Penkridge.

OMG!

What’s going to happen to all the factories in Stafford that rely on exports to Kenya?!
Somewhere, I still have the telex massages that I exchanged with a chap in Kenya, when we sent a few circuit breakers there in the early 80s. I kept them because he had the misfortune to have the name Idi Amin.

He wasn't that Idi Amin, of course, and we never mentioned the coincidence, I suspect he was fed up with the whole thing.

I can confirm the Clarke was not involved in any way with this enterprise, luckily.

Gullis in Stoke has also resigned. Given how he’s incredibly fresh blood I’d say there’s definitely some whipping going on… so it’s more like the Pied Piper leading them off the sinking ship after setting it on fire in the first place

You love to see it though, the Tory party burning itself to the ground.

Has her uncle made a move yet? He must be so bored of getting asked where the brexit benefits are, maybe he wants the job.

Don't you have to actually take a post up in order to resign from it though?

From what I can see she hasn't actually started as "our" MP yet has she?
Come on; the first thing you do is make sure your place in the lifeboat is booked, and some twat hasn't nicked your lifejacket. (Not easy to do in the Tory party.) :heyhey:

People around here are moaning about our local parties hand delivering xmas cards to everyone , with the offer of help if needed . Posting photos of them binning them .
At least it's the first time I've ever had one from an MP, never had one in Stafford in all my years 66 years of living there! I thought it was a nice touch myself ....
