We nearly came home with a Fruit Bat from Chester Zoo a few years ago :o

As we walked through the 'Bat Cave',son suddenly started jumping around and screaming that a bat had gone inside his hoody. After hubby telling him not to talk so stupid, and the Bat Keeper telling him off for scaring the bats, he still insisted that a bat was wriggling around inside.
The keeper put her hand inside his hoody and did indeed find a bat in there  Apparently, after son had previously eaten his jam scone,he must have put his hands in his pockets and the bat was attracted by the smell of the jam.

The batcave is so cool and at the same time scary! If you go in the tunnel bit and they're zooming past your face in the dark it's quite creepy! I had a big helium balloon in there and kept hearing them "twang" off it!

I was going to ask why you were in a tunnel full of bats with a helium balloon, but your private life is your own affair..
