Just a note really regarding good lady and her current occupation which she is blindingly good at might I add !
Seems to be a regional Arriva competition thingy going where members of the local public ( that's you that is !) are invited to nominate and vote for someone who is basically good at their job , which of course she is .
Now I know some of you have had the joyful experience of travelling with her through Staffordshire's hills and dales so you will know how good she is at her job .
Others of you may not "YET"
It is likely that you or yours will one day , car breaks down, need to use public transport for whatever reason and you too will see what a joy it is to be her passenger .Unless of course you dont live in Staffs in which case ..well dunno
I'm plugging this because the brains at arriva dont actually give their staff ID badges and unless you ask the driver who they are you wont have a clue . so it's nearly impossible to be nominated or voted unless you happen to be related( which I am ) or that you have travelled with them for the last 10 yrs or something .. Hence this plug !
Now before anyone gives it the big one about the "service" this is not what your voting for . so this has nothing to do with delays or equipment and the like . This is to do with the public face of the company and how they make their passengers feel on their journeys etc .
What have you got to do to help a fellow forumite ?

Oh yes in return for this good deed something in return
Good lady has decided to let anyone wearing Forum T shirts on the old Bus service for free ( no names no pack drill ..wink wink type of thing) If you get on a bus and your wearing a shirt or she IDs you from meets etc you travel gratis . It is likely she will cover your costs herself unless there's over 20 of you Miss T ! you wont know till it happens !.. but don't say owt!
