Not all of them, but a fair few. Selection boxes were 50p, bags of chocolate coins 25p, packs 0f 8 jelly xmas lollies for 50p. There are several threads on HUKD about it, but they are kinda pointless as its all clearance stuff so every store will be different.

An interesting move TBH, shows the supermarkets (or asda at least) massively overestimated this year on stock. The decision to ditch it all before xmas is probably a wise one, as it will get rid of it all early rather than reducing it anyway in the new year. Plus it will damage the sales of choccies for other supermarkets even in the post xmas reductions, as they don't normally hit this cheap anywhere and people wont see anything thats not 75% off as a real reduction. Be interesting to see how Tesco react, diabetes for everyone this year!

I'm hearing from several fronts that the prices have now gone back up again, although I'm in no position to check.

This either points to a monumental cock-up of nationwide pricing, or a sly way to ditch some stock early to free storerooms but keep enough for the festive period itself. I wonder how selection box sales are in the last week of xmas, is this sort of thing what people usually buy ahead or leave til the last minute?

Aww, was just going to grab my coat and go and top up on my already large supply of festive chocs for the little people!

I may be wrong, some stores are still selling them cheap but others aren't. Not been into the Stafford one again so no idea there, I wouldn't make a specific journey for them but if you're nearby....
