I seem to remember many moons ago, yet quite clearly cannot be arsed to check, that there was talk of installing some sort of link with the Gatehouse so that punters could be given notice of the interval coming to an end in the pub.

What became of this idea?

Not quite sure about this one... Shaun (Landlord) is on a brewery trip tonight, I'll ask him when I speak to him tomorrow

It's an OK pint, wheatbeer, lagery type drink.
Just wondering, whenever I hear anyone ask what lagers are available the Blue Moon is never offered, same in the Oak at Eccy

I asked Shaun this last night when I saw him, and its a simple answer really... Its not a lager, its a wheat beer
