Should any forumites find themselves looking for a decent well priced eatery in York I can strongly recommend a place we found the week-end before last.
Winner Winner on Kings Staith right by the river.
Chicken led menu, not fancy but well cooked and tasty, had the cajun chicken burger, two cajun seasoned breasts, jalapenos, chili sauce, cheese and topped off with a jalapeno stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. Chili chips on the side.
Good music, nice ambiance, smashing staff.
Shared starter (huge) platter, two mains, two sides, one pudding and wine came to just under £40.
