I got the free magazine 'Feelgood Stafford' through the door today - Back 2 Bikes have a big add on page 2 stating that there's 15% off everything instore until 11th December....
Maybe, the advert said that the 15% off started 'today', but didn't state when today was.....in the back of the magazine the days out are listed from the beging of December......so the offer could of been on for a week-ish already!Lol, I bet that's why they are closed, advertise a good bargain and then prevent people getting said bargain!
They published the "15% Off until 11th December" advert on their Facebook page on November 11th - the last entry there, in fact.Maybe, the advert said that the 15% off started 'today', but didn't state when today was.....in the back of the magazine the days out are listed from the beging of December......so the offer could of been on for a week-ish already!
Maybe there's a staffing problem, it is a charity after all.....They published the "15% Off until 11th December" advert on their Facebook page on November 11th - the last entry there, in fact.

Yay! See, staffing problems....Went today while passing and the place was open again. Spoke to the girl who I assume is managing and she explained that she'd been off and they'd had some staff sickness. I clarified they'd be open properly again now and she seems to think they will be. Hopefully my bike can get fixed now
No use to anyone wanting to collect their bikes from there after service if they decide to close for a few days, or indeed permanently without any warning. I've used them for years and there's never been this before. Clearly the place is being very badly run at the moment. Is sir Barry of the Stamp still in charge?Do they not have a telephone number? If so then just phone ahead before you set off, no answer - no go.
Or am I missing something here?

I'm trying to imagine how she could have walked down there three non-consecutive times?I was referring more to Kyoto who walked down there three consecutive times to find out they were closed.
Oh to have such time on one's hands!
Make sure that you don't do this two consecutive times.Fair point G!
