I walked down this afternoon and could see that happening quite a lot as I walked down the bank. Buses and lorries couldn't squeeze past the ones in the centre right turn lane, and once four cars were waiting to turn in nothing else behind was going anywhere fast , as the right turners were relying on the constant oncoming traffic to give way to them. Several waiting drivers were actually giving up and carrying on driving towards Radford Bank instead.
Same here, and after having a look around Aldi today I'll be walking past the co-op in future for those odd items I need quickly. With Aldi nearly on my doorstep , and their cheaper prices actually going through the till at the price on the shelf rather than having the usual arguments at the Co-op when half the items go through incorrectly, it will be ideal for me.
Being on foot this afternoon I had to stop myself going mad and slinging too much into my basket, but got a feeling the trolley will be full when I've got the car. Hubby will be like a kid in a sweet shop , slinging everything in.
