Together Telecom is the new name for Atlas Telecom its the same people doing the same thing here is how one of there ex staff say they operate its called MISSELLING and Together Telecom (formerly ATLAS TELECOM) do this
So for all that arent aware I will reveal step by step how they "sucker" you in so that those new to this forum can see.
They ring you up out of the blue under the guise of offering a government funded grant for the broadband services for small to medium businesses and proceed to make sure you "qualify".
Qualification is a bunch of irrelevant questions about your business such as no. of employees how long youve been trading etc. all designed to throw you off course so they can get the real info they want; your provider and how many lines you've got. As long as your spend is high enough usually over £45 for lines call and BB they agent will then tell you that you need to speak to the grants team to ensure there is still availability in your are but you could be saving upto £1500 if there is.
This is where the clinchers dig there claws in. They run an imaginary check on your postcode to make sure you're "in the catchment area" or there is "grant availability left" in your area. Then they go through and proceed to tell you some made up story as to why the grant is available and that its to help your business "grow and develop" and that its funded through the Department for Sports Media and Culture and advise you to look at:
https://www.gov.uk/broadband-delivery-uk and
https://www.connectionvouchers.co.uk/
To try and legitimise their claims. At this point they've waffled on to great extent so you have forgotten the previous stuff so youre left thinking that you're getting whats on either of those pages. At this point you're usually fairly interested so now they mention a price that is almost half your existing bill with your current provider, as little as £24.99 + VAT for 1 line and Broadband to try and seal the deal. But wait you're in a contract and cant leave your current provider. At this point they start flaunting Ofcom General Condition 9.6 about which is probably the only truthful thing they say in the whole call but in order for that to work they convince you that your provider changes their prices regularly which they probably dont. Info on Ofcom General Condition 9.6 can be found here:

The whole process is very well thought out and I'd be surprised if half of the staff even know that theyre conning you. I still know one or two people that work there so if i here any news as to changes ill let you know."
