The Post House, Stafford

John Marwood

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
To be fair

To humans

This venue have never exactly been transparent

So speculation and drivel will abound

I suggest a family tree coupled with a pie chart, to include garden centres and toilets with holes drilled in them

Maybe a 2 part TV series

?

I 'think' he was referring to this.

Correct Proactive. I maybe should have layered my post better.

my point was to John's comment about a month of poor takings would lead one to do one.

I have no doubt the new riverside and revolution will impact on other establishments in the town, other posters have alluded to the fact they have noticed some of the places I mentioned seem to have been quieter since revolution had opened.

This would to be expected as new establishments will spike an interest in attendance numbers in their early days before this plateaus out.

but I wouldn't expect a good business to fold or do one just because of a new competitor had been open a month. You don't see other establishments in town closing a couple of months into revolution been open.

Something else has been going on at the post house for along time to get to the situation it is in...not revolution opening.

There is already an excellent Gin Bar at No.7.

I'm glad the Post House is reopening. It's a fantastic venue and if well run could appeal to a number of different people, however, I will continue to stick to the real ale pubs.
