wanna see my snake?
Off to Amsterdam tomorrow, flight at 9am. Passport in my desk drawer (needed for mortgage stuffs), work opens around 07:30!

Luckily despite all the redundancies we still have a few amazing members of staff left, and one has keys to the building. Passport secured, I owe him many drinks!

Decided early Monday morning is the worst time to fly from Birmingham airport ! Bloody chaotic!!! Hell of a lot more bigger queues everywhere, and big lack of seating compared to the Thursday mornings experience a few weeks ago.​

MOT day for the motorhome, already delivered to FMS, coniciding with windows and door being replaced at the house.

I'm there now, only got as far as burger king so far though!

We got here 4.30 am, set off super early incase of hitting roadworks or accidents etc and had a clear run all the way there.Place was manic at that time, we struggled to get past the Monarch check-in queues to reach our Jet2 desk. The carpark 5 courtesy bus was jam packed and turning people away. No seats anywhere in departures for ages. It calmed down a bit later, thought it would have been the other way round!

Our Lufthansa flight from brum was constantly showing that '5 mins' message for ages the other week. Only found out the gate was actually open from an email they sent me, informing me the gate had been changed and had started boarding!

Hope you have a good trip as well. :)

I'm currently in a seafront bar , wondering whether setting the clock to get up early-ish for breakfast was such a good idea after all .The night is still young:banana: :pint::banana::pint:

Windows done. New door being fitted today and tidying up of the surrounds. We went for replacement sash.
