I also recommend Aldi's Malbec and also their Pinot Grigio - the one that is around £3.50 on the bottom shelf- out of stock at the mo in the intown Aldi.Aldi for everyday wine. As well as the Malbec mentioned by @Lucy there's also a very nice Italian Rosso for only £3.29!!!
Mid range wine normally from Waitrose depending on what offers they have at any given time.
The best stuff involves a trip to southern France.
Don't forget sausages. My parents bi-annual visit from France is in a fortnight . They load up their car for me with cheap wine and primo french butter .
Aldi Toro Loco is also a goody when it's in.I also recommend Aldi's Malbec and also their Pinot Grigio - the one that is around £3.50 on the bottom shelf- out of stock at the mo in the intown Aldi.
Our holiday finishes on Thursday via a quick detour to Monza for the GP.Don't forget sausages.
Ooops.Good job Sainsburys offer is on longer than Monday then!
Well, if you have room for an extra pack of merguez or Toulouse sausages .............Our holiday finishes on Thursday via a quick detour to Monza for the GP.
This week will be spent carefully considering how to pack the most amount of French wine and sausage into the space we will have available in the car. Current options include leaving the dog and child behind or buying a roofbox, to make the most of it.
I could leave Mrs p behind, I suppose. She's vegan so probably wouldn't appreciate the sausages too much anyway...Well, if you have room for an extra pack of merguez or Toulouse sausages .............
In the roof box with the kid and the dog - be fair.I could leave Mrs p behind, I suppose. She's vegan so probably wouldn't appreciate the sausages too much anyway...
