Cilla would say it best...How long before this happened? Work taking place on a very dangerous tree -
A large branch breaking off a tree not in a very good condition.

You can see the large scar facing you at the bottom, where a good-sized branch peeled off a month or two back (there's a picture on here somewhere*).Why have they done that?
I think this is it during its thicket days. (1978)You can see the large scar facing you at the bottom, where a good-sized branch peeled off a month or two back (there's a picture on here somewhere*).
No doubt the whole tree will have been deemed "dangerous", as a result.
It can't be that old, North Walls ran through there until the mid/late 70s.

I think there's probably enough of these comparisons out there on Google maps to sit on it's own forum topic full timeJust been looking around there on Google Earth street view. The main road view is a few months old, but if you turn into where the Police HQ was you get a view from 2011 and the HQ building and radio tower suddenly spring out of the ground !! … it's like some kind of time portal …
It's amazing what a few years of growth can cover.

If I had the time I would love to do a foi request to the council to find out how many trees they have chopped down, how many they've planted and what varieties, how many trees with tpos on they've allowed to be cut down and what fines were imposed. Anyone fancy finding out for us?
