Sitting in Caffe Nero earlier, admiring the view, as you do, I couldn't help but feel what a dreadful loss to Stafford Brighthouse will be, with its 69.9% interest.
Those who work there must be proper proud.
I imagine they are more interested in earning a living, many people are too concerned with providing for themselves and their families than to worry to much about 'pride' in their work.
Ultimately it is a consenting transaction between a business and private individuals who should read before they sign.
My issue isn't with these high interest companies, although I certainly am not a fan, its that I cannot remember receiving a single finance management class at any point in my some 18 years of full time education, and I assume it hasn't changed much since then.
Maybe if people were taught the dangers of lending to people before they are legally old enough to do so, we wouldn't have such a problem.
