Oddly, a couple of older maps felt it was noteworthy to include whatever it was. Here is a 'then and now' map comparison.
On Google Earth it's very clear … dated 26-5-2017.
It's a mystery !!!
Could it just be a water trough for animals?Interestingly swapping to the OS 25" map 1892-1914 series, it seems to be marked on that as well
Looks like a Giant left his coat hanger there ….
I can understand why there would need to be a queue at the point of he having to pay online, in order to manage the numbers of people needing to come to the store to collect and the number of staff in store to cope.Went to look on the B& Q website. Message came up I'm in a queue to get onto it, as in these times they are limiting the number of people visiting the website ( and once I reach the front of the queue I'll have 10 minutes to get onto the site, then I've lost my place)
Over an hours wait to get onto the website ...If I leave the page I've lost my place

as well as 45 years of old payslips which he still wants to hang onto
I was on £8 a week top line when I started work. Kinda wish I had kept the old paper tape and punch cards that I kept for years and decided on one blitzing session to bin. Along with an MRI / Gec measurements PCB key ring which was made specially for me .Interesting historical documents. I've got some 56 year old pay slips. £36 a month take home pay - and horrendous income tax levels.
