Or just ignore it all, let them argue amongst themselves. If they call ask them to talk to your insurance companies legal team as its in their hands now, then go about your day.
Could make myself some money writing a drama...unbelievable....just had another call from ST chasing me to get it done.

Told him I rang this morning & spoke to 'Josh' and all in the hands of LV ins and they're using Auger..." Aaah yes , I can see Josh's notes now ...that's ok then , I wasn't aware you'd been in contact so that's OK then nothing to worry about. Can see its been high usage since summer so we'll adjust all the bills back to when you moved in once sorted " ....

Might have a water feature with a new stream in the garden when they dig the trench on thursday. All the water from next doors leak is filling any holes they dig.

No wonder our seller was so keen to break the chain when it stalled above & move in with his parents to get the sale finalised and get out of here! He didn't say there was a meter on the question on solicitors paperwork and told us after, when he came collecting post, he wasn't aware he had one.... He must have had high bills as the first fortnight's bill when we moved in was massive. Apparently you cant sell a house if you know its got a leak on the land

Anyway , cracking on with the weekend :pint: ... and washing the car and soaking in hot baths before it's fixed and they want the average readings again 😂

If this was me I'd be telling ST that if they called me again I would take action against them for harassment.

Just had to call ST myself. Came back to a bad smell in the downstairs toilet, drain is blocked. Got the rods out but decided to check the neighbours before I got too far into it, traced it 4 houses down and then into the street.

Don't forget to threaten them with legal action if they don't turn up within 4 hours.

And then pester them at an unreasonable timescale.

What's good for the goose...

But the smell remains...

Last time this happened there was damaged brickwork in the sewer (where the rats were getting into the cavity walls), meaning sewage went in and took ages to get rid of the smell. I fixed it, but fear it's happened again :(

I used waterproof cement, and it's been OK for at least 8 or 9 years, but maybe something has cracked? Whatever, looks like todays lunch break is going in the manhole to inspect after I jet wash it all. I have some bitumen paint left over, can I coat the brickwork in my manhole with that?

If you have the leeway, you might blast the chamber, wait for the smell to ease substantially and then proof the walls.

Sealing the walls now may trap stuff that might be seeping back out?

Also, the jetwashing will cause the bricks to be holding water that might be best gone before the bitumen goes on.

Hoping the forecast snow for UK doesn't delay our the continuing insurance work on thursday . The firm is based in Liverpool but last 2 workers came up from Caerphilly and Winchester .

Also hoping for no snow as being brave and said I'd be going along for my first time with the walking group tomorrow :D

So glad I took that brave step to join the Zumba group the other week. (Even got complimented on my wiggly hips today 😂)
I'd been too scaredy cat to just turn up at the tuesday morning free walking group, but turns out all the friends I've made at Zumba go on the walks as well and invited me along tomorrow. One hours walk followed by a chat over tea , coffee & biscuits back in the centre for 30 pence .

That's Monday , Tuesday and Fridays taken care of. Next step take the plunge and get back into swimming again .......

I had a yellow snow warning for the West Midlands just now.

If that does happens, make sure that they don't let any of it get into your drinking water supply.

With all the water that seems to be in it you could probably do that in your own front garden.

Wishing I'd have taken more than a bit of loose change with me for my first walk with the walking group . Wasn't expecting to be invited to stay and have lunch in the local pub with them afterwards, as they do each first tuesday of the month.

A lot slower pace than my usual power walking , but enjoyed a nice chat as we ambled along exploring pastures new for me :)

Didn't think hubby would've been happy getting a phone call to drive to the local pub with his wallet to pay for me to enjoy Hunter Chicken & ciders while he's working. 😂

Google pay is basically using your phone. I never take anything other than my phone nowadays.

Lovely walk over the Chase with the current Mrs p and the pups this morning. Bit chilly in the shade but the sun had some real warmth to it. Felt quite spring like.
Have we ever seen a photo of your Pups. Or is that something you'd prefer not to make public?

Never done that , or paypal etc. Haven't got my phone to set up to pay by that either. or my watch or any other gadget I've seen people paying with.

That's the usual method 😂

My phone is set up for it. But it takes me ages to get it to work. Easier drag the card out of my purse.
