I would say the support system for just about every business is impacted by EU workers and the lack of. The end point may not be but most are. I remove sole traders such as window cleaners etc from that.

Massive cuffy to DHL delivery based on Tollgate.

I'd been sent a new works phone because my current phone will become obsolete soon and will soon be deemed a security threat.

DHL have tried to deliver it at least 9 times so far, of which my neighbours have observed the van driver hasn't even got out of the van and just took a photo of my front door.

They claim to have tried to deliver but nobody was home - I've been in for most deliveries but no knock, no delivery note and no follow up to ask when I may be in.

When I was aware of an attempted delivery the times conflicted with work and when I tried their phone service it was so automated that it was impossible to speak to a real person to arrange a new delivery date and time.

I've had numerous messages from DHL saying they have my parcel and will message when it is out for delivery when in reality it had already been sent back to sender.

This week's escapades was a knock on the door on Tuesday, followed by a white van driving off when I got to the door and the delivery note on my drive for anyone to pick up. I ended up driving round to DHL today and collecting the phone so that I knew I had it.

DHL are a bunch of absolutely useless cockwombles with zero customer care.

Cuffy to Coffee#1 who for some reason have decided to add the sugar to your drink themselves.

Popped in for a latte, and was asked how many sugars I wanted (they usually give you the sachets).

They gave me the coffee and told me they had added the sugar themselves..... Very odd

That's very odd. As a diabetic I usually ask for sweeteners so I'll have to watch what they decide to add to my drink now.

I didn't say anything but did email their main corporate mailbox and they came back to say that it's been passed to the area manager to pick up as it shouldn't be happening.

Probably tired of picking the sachets up off the floor or something I imagine

I like that idea (as long as they give the customer the option to opt in/out). Does my head in when trying to add sugar to lattes etc and most of it ends up staying in the frothy bit.

Talk of shopping has reminded me of my recent visit to Lidl, when, as I was putting the stuff into my ancient Wilko's bag, the arse fell out of it. Of course, 'bag for life' means little now Wilko is dead itself.

Even though I insisted that I could manage the few bits in the deceased bag, if I was careful, the extremely pleasant checkout operator gave me one of their 'everlasting' bags, so I got it all back here unscathed.

Cuffy to Lloyds Bank.
Trying to register my mother's power of attorney.
1st attempt they got my details wrong.😞
2nd attempt they lost the first 2 pages of their copy😭
3rd attempt they lost everything😭😭
4th attempt watched as all scanned to the account 😀 they then cancelled it without telling me as both attorneys have to be present.
5th attempt had to go to Wrexham branch with my sister (day off) to scan everything again.
We'll see how this time goes.🤐

Shambles. I had to do this with my mom's account. I decided to book an appointment in branch. Had to wait about 6 weeks for the appointment but they did manage to get it sorted while there

EDIT: This was with Barclays

Kinda cuffy for the chap who runs Harveys the cobbler/engraver on the high street. Its the 2nd time I've used the place in a couple of years, this time to get a trophy engraved. I just wish he would smile !!!

Still he turned around the job in 24 hours so all good.

Not smiling is his prerogative but last month I thought £7.50 was a bit expensive for him cutting a padlock key.

Did the key work first time though? Last few that family members have had cut at Timpsons have had to be redone because they didn't work.
