    Butter Knife Café, Lichfield Road.

I haven't been in there yet so I can't comment on the food etc but I spoke to the butter knife people through Facebook messenger last week as I had a couple of questions about the menu and delivery. They seemed professional and friendly. It would be awful if this person is actually nothing to do...

Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

The rent on Princes street is probably cheaper than the market, plus their opening hours aren't restricted. Hopefully they will do well there.

    Removals company recommendations

Evening all. Can anyone recommend a local removals company that preferably offers a packing service. Only moving a couple of miles within Stafford but we just have too much stuff to try and do a man with a van job. Also let me know of any companies to avoid based on experience. Thanks in...

    Stafford Market

@Trumpet it's £8.50 or £7.00 for 65+, ear flaming is included. Just mention it when having your cut as not everyone wants it :) Cut throats shaves with hot towels start from £10 if that's something you might be interested in. Sorry for the delay in replying - our internet has been diabolical the...

    Stafford Market

Brilliant! If your husband just lets him know he'd like his ears doing as well when he has his cut he'll be happy to oblige (all included in the price of course, but my husband just doesn't want to scare customers off by suddenly sizzling their ear hairs when they're not expecting it!)

    Stafford Market

No i'm not into that kind of thing. If you mean at work, yes he loves a bit of pyrotechnics. He'll happily sizzle your ear hair away.

Hi Andy, that's my husband in the market. Glad you were pleased with your cut. I'll pass on the feedback!

    Stafford Market

Hi Teapot, no not offended at all. I agree with what your saying to be honest. I know there's some gems in there but as I said before, they're diluted by stalls that seem to sell a variety of tat. I think it needs the sort of traders selling at the makers market. I was gutted the one last week...

Stafford to get a Toys R Us but be quick !

I totally get what people have said about choosing convenience (which is often online) but I'm going to make sure I buy at least one of my sons Christmas presents from Salter Street toys this year. I reckon if we all decided to buy just a handful of our Christmas presents from local independents...

    Stafford Market

Thanks everyone, some interesting comments. It's really frustrating as a stall holder as there are some really great stalls - the haberdashery stall, fruit & veg stall, butchers, a great pots and pans stall, grannies attic, the tailors, the barbers (ours) and quite a few others, but I do think...

    Stafford Market

Afternoon all, Just looking to get some feedback/opinions from you all. We have a shop on Stafford Market and I'd like to give some feedback at the next meeting as to what people think of the market/whether they go there and if not, why. I have some ideas myself and could probably predict...
