I've been watching the steady destruction of the trees around there for the past week or so.. Very sad to see so many go.

Cabinet Spotting Looks to be a new cabinet and a big hole in the pavement on Lichfield road by the Sun. As already mentioned there's a new cab and ongoing work by the Esso garage on Lammascote Road. And there's pavement work but no new cabinet (yet) up on Weston Road.

Probably a Geminid meteor.

I happened to be walking home and saw some of the clean up after the accident, and took a few photos: They definitely stretchered a person from the accident and onto the Air Ambulance and then flew off (Northwards, perhaps to North Staffs?). So I imagine someone was fairly seriously hurt in...
